The success story of Inophyia

This is Inophyia. She is one of the children helped by the distance child adoption program of AID INDIA. Inophyia was born on 11 January 1998. Her father was a fisherman and her mother housewife. They led a happy life until her father died in 2001 after having got a heavy shock by an electricity wire. Because of her fathers death the family did not have enough income anymore and lived in a very poor situation. Her mother was not able to take care of her 4 children. She came in contact with AID INDIA and she decided to send Inophyia and her other daughter to the orphanage of AID INDIA; the Island of Hope. In 2004 AID India helped the mother of Inophyia to start up a Self Help Group. With the micro credit loan Inophyia’s mother was able to start up her own small tailoring business, which provides some money to the family. AID INDIA also found a distance adoption parent for Inophyia. Because of the income generation of her mother and the help of Inophyia’s distance adoption parents, she could go back home in 2007. She and her sister were reunited with their family! Because of the help of her adoption parents there is enough money to send Inophyia to school. The money is spend on the school fee, school uniforms, and books and besides that it supports the basic needs of the whole family! Inophyia does very well in school and is happy to be back home. Thank you adoption parents!
