Our head office is based in Satankulum, a small town in Tamil Nadu, south India.

AID INDIA works in four districts of Tamil Nadu:

1. Thoothukudi
2. Tirunelveli
3. Kanyakumari
4. Virudhunagar

This area is mainly rural. The region is primarily flat and remains predominantly barren except during the rainy season. This generally last from 15 September to 15 December, although the area is consistently drought prone. In the Toothukudi District in which we do most of our work, there are no rivers. Natural resources in rainy seasons are paddy, sugarcane, and plantain. There are also crops for coconut, cotton, ragi, jola, and kambu.
