Tuesday 26 of January it was Republic Day. On this day the Indian people commemorate the day on which the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January, 1950. In the whole country there’re celebrations and parades. It is a national holiday. Also at the Ave Maria School and Orphanage there was a commemoration. All together we sang some songs like the national and state anthem. Also their were some speeches and stories about the meaning of Republic Day and why the Indian people commemorates and celebrate this day.
