Also this year there was a big Children’s Day Celebration in the orphanages and schools of AID India. In June of this year AID India opened a new school and orphanage. So this was the first year of the Children’s Day Celebration on both locations. As well in the new orphanage Home for Children in Sathankulam as in the orphanage Island of Hope children had a great celebration. On the third day of the celebration all children of both orphanages met each other in the orphanage Island of Hope. This was a great event and all children were very happy. The children practiced songs and drama to show on Children’s Day to all children, members and other people who where invited. At the end some children got a price for best song or best drama and many people where honored for there charity and help to the work of AID India.
